Nokia is checking out if one of its outside companies it works with had some of their stuff stolen by a hacker who says they got their hands on some of Nokia's secret stuff. This person is now trying to sell it on a sketchy internet marketplace.
Nokia heard about this and is pretty concerned, so they've started looking into it. They don't think their own computers got hacked, but they're not taking any chances. They've got a team looking into what happened.
Someone called IntelBroker is the one saying they took the stuff. They're saying they have a bunch of Nokia's important computer stuff that they got from a company that helps Nokia build tools. They're trying to sell it, and they're listing all the cool stuff they supposedly have, like secret codes and login details.
This all happened because the bad guys got into the helper company's server using a password that everyone knows you shouldn't use. They downloaded some of Nokia's projects and other sensitive info.
Nokia's still trying to figure out if it's true, but they're not saying much yet. We don't really know if the hacker's story holds up, but if it does, it could be a big problem for everyone involved.
This IntelBroker group isn't new to causing trouble. They've hacked some big companies before, like the one that handles health insurance for people in the US and another that does grocery shopping online. So, this isn't their first time playing the game.
For now, we're waiting to see if Nokia finds any evidence of a break-in, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on.
